Your role

As a (Senior) Project Manager - Product Development Sports Nutrition, you will be a driving force in shaping entire product category sports products (such as whey and vegan protein powder). In close collaboration with our founder and CPO, you will play a pivotal role in crafting the vision for our products. Embrace the role of a mini-entrepreneur within our organization and take 360-degree ownership of your product categories, overseeing the end-to-end product development. 

• End-to-end product development: taking charge from recipe development, conceptualisation to final execution for the sports nutrition product category
• Conduct product calculations and analyses and develop recipes with a keen eye on cost efficiency, ensuring optimal use of resources
• Conduct competition and price analyses and keep a watchful eye on the latest market trends to analyse consumer needs and preferences
• Gather customer feedback for continuous improvement, review products post-launch, and work closely with Regulatory Affairs for label updates and compliance 
• Collaborate with our sourcing team for raw material selection and engage with manufacturers to ensure the highest and purest quality of every single ingredients
• Liaise with the editorial department to showcase our product differentiators on our website

Your profile

• You bring 2+ years of hands-on experience in Project Management for Product Development within the domain of sports products – from concept and formulation to sale
• You have experience seeing projects through the full product life cycle and you have already managed cross-functional projects within a fast-moving d2c start-up or company  
• Ideally you have a Bachelor / Master degree in food / nutritional sciences, food technology, sport & nutrition, sport management, biotechnology or a similar field
• Advanced familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies and best practices 
• Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget and timeline as well as very good analytical skills
• You are ready to come to the office regularly, fluency in English and German skills are a bonus!

Sunday Natural was born out of a long-standing passion and research in the areas of health, healing and self-development. The lack of natural, high-quality products on the market provided the original motivation for founding Sunday Natural in 2013. We want to produce exactly the products we would like to buy ourselves. As natural as possible, absolutely pure, free of all additives and with the highest possible quality. Sunday Natural is purely privately financed, independent and today one of the renowned German quality manufacturers, with its own research and development department in Berlin. We cooperate with selected research institutes, scientists, therapists, farmers and professional associations for the continuous development of our products.

We take our ecological responsibility very seriously: Our entire range is therefore vegetarian, mostly vegan. We also go our own way when it comes to packaging: the majority of our products are packaged in glass and are therefore almost completely recyclable.
