Your role

As an Accountant, we are looking for a multi-talented, driven individual with an eye for detail. Become part of the open and warm Finance team of the Sunday Group, working closely with the Head of Finance Fatemeh and the CFO Anja.

• You are responsible for managing all business transactions, which includes overseeing accounts payable, asset accounting, and general ledger accounting
• You review the automatically generated and posted invoices in our ERP system 'Odoo
• You play a key role in preparing the monthly and annual financial statements in accordance with the German Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (HGB)
• You generate statistical reports, VAT advance returns, and OSS (One-Stop-Shop) filings.You create intercompany invoices and coordinate payment runs while ensuring their reconciliation

Your profile

• An apprenticeship preferably as an accountant, tax clerk or a commercial degree as well as at least 5 years of professional experience in Accounting / Finance
• A sound understanding of the German Accounting Principles (HGB), as well as user knowledge of Excel and ERP systems
• You work in a structured, careful and proactive manner and can integrate well into an existing team 
• You are very interested in the digitalisation and automation of our finance processes
• You are located in Berlin or ready to relocate and you speak very good German as well as English (B2 level)

Sunday Natural was born out of a long-standing passion and research in the areas of health, healing and self-development. The lack of natural, high-quality products on the market provided the original motivation for founding Sunday Natural in 2013. We want to produce exactly the products we would like to buy ourselves. As natural as possible, absolutely pure, free of all additives and with the highest possible quality. Sunday Natural is purely privately financed, independent and today one of the renowned German quality manufacturers, with its own research and development department in Berlin. We cooperate with selected research institutes, scientists, therapists, farmers and professional associations for the continuous development of our products.

We take our ecological responsibility very seriously: Our entire range is therefore vegetarian, mostly vegan. We also go our own way when it comes to packaging: the majority of our products are packaged in glass and are therefore almost completely recyclable.
