Your role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager Product Development with a proven track record in the field of Spices & Spice Blends who can successfully launch our new planned product category and reaffirm the quality we offer to our customers. To excel in this role, you must possess extensive and specialized expertise in procuring spices directly from farms. This position is pivotal in ensuring the highest quality sourcing and aligns with our commitment to excellence in the Spices & Spice Blends category. It involves 360-degree product development, granting ownership for the entire product lifecycle, from conception and formulation to project completion and market entry.

• You will manage and coordinate new product development projects in the Spice category, working closely with your team, the CPO & the founder
• You will provide regular status and progress reports on your projects
• You will leverage your extensive and specialised expertise in procuring spices directly from farms, a role critical in ensuring the highest quality sourcing and upholding our commitment to excellence in the Spices & Spice Blends category
• Your responsibilities include planning, coordination, management, and reporting on all product development steps
• As a great team player, you will coach and support all team members, tracking their progress and addressing issues in close coordination with them
• Collaborate closely with our international Sourcing team, bringing your extensive and specialised expertise in procuring spices directly from farms, among other areas
• Take the initiative to continuously improve business processes, optimizing efficiency, reliability, and availability

Your profile

• You have gained at least 1 year experience in the spices industry and have already carried out product developments for spices, e.g. single spices, spice blends, spice sets 
• You have sourced spices from various (preferably organic) farms, within Europe or globally
• You have experience seeing projects through the full life cycle and you have already managed cross-functional projects  
• Advanced familiarity with project management software tools, methodologies and best practices
• Proven ability to complete projects according to outlined scope, budget and timeline as well as very good analytical skills
• Fluency in English, German is a big bonus!

Sunday Natural was born out of a long-standing passion and research in the areas of health, healing and self-development. The lack of natural, high-quality products on the market provided the original motivation for founding Sunday Natural in 2013. We want to produce exactly the products we would like to buy ourselves. As natural as possible, absolutely pure, free of all additives and with the highest possible quality. Sunday Natural is purely privately financed, independent and today one of the renowned German quality manufacturers, with its own research and development department in Berlin. We cooperate with selected research institutes, scientists, therapists, farmers and professional associations for the continuous development of our products.

We take our ecological responsibility very seriously: Our entire range is therefore vegetarian, mostly vegan. We also go our own way when it comes to packaging: the majority of our products are packaged in glass and are therefore almost completely recyclable.
