Senior Tracking Specialist (all genders)

Your role
You will take ownership of the measurement of user behavior and E-Commerce data on our websites and possible future app(s). For this, you will continuously evolve the client- and server-side Google Tag Manager setup, including the usage of accompanying features in Google Cloud, as well as improving the GA4 setup.

The position centers around setting up the best possible tracking to provide high-quality data to be used in our marketing channels, for website optimization, and in BI reporting to facilitate further business growth.

  • Take ownership of the holistic setup and development of Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 for our 10+ country domains
  • Continuously improve the quality and quantity of measured data by implementing data quality monitoring measures and creating suitable reports in Looker Studio
  • Strongly participate in shaping our measurement strategy to meet marketing and business needs
  • Educate stakeholders about the features and limitations of our tracking setup
  • Collaborate closely with our marketing and data teams to solve business questions, create synergies, and drive business growth through data
  • Collaborate with our legal team to align with data protection topics
Your profile
  • At least 5 years of in-depth experience with Google Tag Manager and Google Analytics 4 , App tracking is a bonus
  • Demonstrated success in the mid- to long-term oriented development of tracking setups
  • Significant experience with setting up Server-Side GTM in a multi-domain setup
  • You are well accustomed to the tracking needs of paid channels such as Google Ads, Meta Ads, and others
  • Developed skillset of how to analyze and leverage GA4 data in BigQuery and at least basic knowledge in SQL, CSS, and JS
  • Strong focus on structured approaches, documentation, and organizing maintenance and monitoring of data quality
  • Ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical audiences, well-developed problem solving skills and a solution-oriented mindset
  • An interest in how AI will augment work in data measurement and digital analytics
