Your role
A Senior Food Supplement Development Manager for Global Markets plays a critical role in the lifecycle of a supplement product, from conceptualization to market launch. This multifaceted role requires a unique blend of scientific knowledge, market insight, project management, and regulatory understanding within multiple international markets.
- Identify new product opportunities through market research reports and consumer trends, including the study of global health and wellness trends, emerging ingredients, and competitor products for existing products
- Engage with cross-functional teams, such as regulatory affairs, product development, and content, to discuss project timelines, market entry and product launch strategies, and product positioning for different global markets
- Collaborate closely with Product Developers to develop new supplement formulations or improve existing ones, ensuring they meet nutritional needs
- Regularly liaise with regulatory affairs to understand and navigate the complex regulatory landscape of different countries
- Coordinate with ingredient suppliers and manufacturers, alongside the internal sourcing and purchasing team, to ensure the quality and availability of raw materials
- Oversee multiple product development projects, track progress against key milestones, and adjust project plans as necessary
